The separation has begun. One year to go. The last weeks together, moving out together, making vacation in beautiful California together and moving in together back in Vaals, living here three weeks together as nothing has happened ever, all these help looking forward to get through this time living in different continents without emotional collateral damage. This is actually not a separation, we just expand the possibilities. Have a save trip to your home in California from our home in Vaals.

The Box 459 was in the computer listed as empty box at Antoon van Daals warehouse in Eindhoven. Due to the picture I sent Richard he had evidence and they looked inside the box. That I sent the picture was just meant as a joke and it turns out, that it was really helpful.

+++Retroactive Health Insurance+++

The trick how to be insured without a time gap

After annoying phone-calls since weeks with our health insurance we are finally insured. Last week the insurance said it is not possible to be not insured in Germany. Our old insurance ended July 15th but the new one was not able to handle our request on time. Today I was really angry at the phone and made a complaint call. I got answer. To ensure that I was insured all the time they dated the beginning of the insurance-contract back to the date I arrived in Germany.

They were right! On paper we were all the time insured. It just felt like not to be insured.

A busy weekend is over. We are ready for the moving company tomorrow. All things which remain in the US are labeled with a blue cross. it started raining today, just a few drops.

Three years ago the packing team in the Netherlands were desperate as they should disassemble this wardrobe. The Mexican crew failed to get it together. So, we did it and better we do it again.

The last dinner on the hill has been cooked and eaten. Tomorrow we are invited to dinner and Tuesday we won’t have any supplies for cooking anymore.

Aunt Tikkie is the pup we spotted on the rocks. I didn’t know that this part of the beach is Miramontes Pt Beach. I googled it and it is. So I’m really happy that our phone call was very successful!

We wish them: Get Better Soon!

Big Thanks to the Volunteers and Employees of the Marine Mammal Center, they all do a wonderful job.

+++HWY92 - Cleaned Up+++

Eyewitnesses reported that the lost home has been removed from HWY 92. Diggers worked hard. The traffic jam was unbelievable long. Only one lane was opened. Other eyewitnesses told us, that the home has been lost on Tuesday. Thanks for reporting!
